Defence and Policing: Overview
Newrisk Limited is able to advise organisations and governments on defence and policing issues. Newrisk Limited and its advisers have worked extensively with police and emergency services in both the UK and Australia and have relevant expertise and training in C4i systems* as well as the development of command and control systems.
Newrisk Limited's principal adviser, Dr Leivesley, has previously addressed British police and business meeting on international threats to the UK and has previously undertaken emergency planning and site evaluations in advance of attendance by 40 heads of state to the World Exhibition in Brisbane (Australia) in conjunction with the police and health services.
Dr Leivesley has also conducted analyses of major incident systems for major events and airports for the Queensland Police (Australia) which involved counter-terrorism field exercises. As part of this work, Dr Leivesley trained and exercised five major urban hospitals, working with a committee of hospital superintendents.
